Fuel pump problem

Ok guys so I got in my truck today started it up and the fuel pressure gauge was fluctuating more then usual so I let it warm up go for a drive and it drops to zero. Went home shut it off made sure the gauge was hooked up and working right go to turn it back on the gauge is still buried at zero and my airdog 2 pump is not making any noise at all. Made sure all the fuses in the truck were good and that the power supply was hooked up right. Put new connectors on the wire ends. Checked the in line fuse. Made sure it was all plugged in and hooked up right. Everything looked absolutely fine and was hooked up still no power to the pump as far as I could tell no noise gauge read zero but the truck started right back up again and I was able to put her back in her parking spot. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?

Had this happen to me once on my 6.0. The relay had failed. Truck ran but lacked power, obviously. Apparently the system is sealed enough that it will suck just enough fuel to run. Try swapping the relay out, or jumper it with a paperclip, see if you have fuel.pressure then.

Found it replaced it still no power to the pump.

See if there's a inertia switch behind the passenger kick panel.

Checked that too lol there was and it dident need reset but I finally got a tester and it is getting power so it burned up gonna have to send it out for a replacement.

This is why sd pumps are good. Can walk into any parts store and be on your way. Lol

Do you have stock injectors?

If the stock one was good when you removed it buy another and build a dual pump setup. Will support most injectors out there.

Many people stay away from fass and airdog for our HUEI trucks due to the higher PSI we require. The pumps just cant keep up.

1 stock SD pump will support up to 160/100's

Any of these 3 will support any injector you want

Aeromotive A1000
Fuelab 41401
Dual SD pumps

There's more to it then just dropping any of these pumps in, you'll replace everything from the tank to the heads.

I already have a driven diesel reg return and I just got off the phone with ad there sending a new unit be here in 2 to 3 days gonna give it one more chance before I switch since it's free under warranty but if it happens again I'll be switching.
