Oh yeah, it's within reach. My concern when doing it is snapping a u-joint and tearing the heck out the truck. I smoke more than I would like, and twins would make a big difference in smoke reduction.

Tuning is everything, and having a tow setting that allows your truck to live a long healthy life is my recommendation. 400hp at the rear wheels is a really fun truck to drive and tow with in my experience.

First off, I wouldn't do twins unless your planning on going to billet rods. I'd personally copy Matt's set-up from full force. The 468 is a great turbo an with either 250/200's or 300/200's an some good tunes should get you to your goal. Keep in mind that you'll also need an upgraded hpop, fuel system, an Trans or clutch.

It's all good, I honestly liked how well 3.55s did with everything I did

250/200s PT7075 made 535/1000 on 35lbs. and have put 40k miles on that setup hauling up and down the east coast at 70mph never a problem gvw of truck and trailer go from 15,500-23k. Depending on live stock in the trailer. Going to a s468fmw w a 1.00 housing. And try for 600rwhp and truck gets towed w every week.

Right now I have as follows.

300/200 Hybrids.
Dual HPOP.
comp 910 springs.
ARP head studs.
HX55 turbo.
6.0L IC
BSDP tuning.
Airdog II pump (hate it. works fine so far its just LOUD!!)
ZF6 tranny
3.55 Gears
stock 235/85R16 tires.

So far it works good! I have towed 16k (not counting the pickup) And do not have problems taking off (would say 4.10 would be better) In OD @ 70 my RPMs are around 1900 and it pulls that load up a 4% grade and holds it without the EGTs hitting 1200. Now on a 6% grade with 16k in 5th it is right @2650 to 2700 RPMs and it will hold its speed fine and when I push the pedal down it will gain, Not fast BUT will only hit right around 1200 to 1225 EGTs. Could do a lot better if i had more air. BUT there is still more there by just adjusting the tunes. It seems like it just keeps getting better. I also in those tunes have ZERO smoke under full throttle pulling a hill. With some more tweeking it could be better.

So yes You can tow over 10k just fine. With 10k I can run 65 up a 6% grade and never loose @ 1750 RPMs+- without smoke to. In fact it will gain very slow. and never hit 1200 EGTs. So there is more there yet to be had.

How do like the turbo? Need to go bigger?

It works great for towing and DD. Just it does not clean up the 300/200 on a higher tune. But does really good for only being a 66m turbo. Its a 66/99 comp wheel so it is bigger then a normal S366 turbo. Some of the fact also why it does not do as good when running a higher tune is the fact I have a .90 S400 housing machined to fit the turbine wheel. Up to 35 PSI the Backpressure is right around a 1:1 Ratio. no clue after that. My gauge only go's to 35 psi. Time to get the 60 PSI one in.

The main reason I would like more air is so there is NO smoke under full throttle in higher tunes. Like I said though the tow tune have no smoke under full throttle. And has no problem pulling 16K of just trailer weight no pickup counted in there. Without EGT trouble. Would be better if it had a bigger housing. I just love the fast response. It will start making boost around 1200 to 1300. I can see 30 psi before 2000 in the higher tunes. it makes 15 to 17 in tow tune before 2000 RPMs.

If I am in OD and step on it @70 the clutch as soon as I hit 2000 RPMs slips like mad and the RPMs jump to 2700 plus in the blink of a eye. And still @ 70. LOL I need a DD if I am going to push it harder.

If i would put a 1:00 or 1:10 A/R housing on it, I could push it even harder towing. Just love the spool up now. After all a .90 in bot ideal for 300/200 injectors. Now in compound setup yes it would be perfect.

Did this answer your question??

I got the stock 19 cm housing. Starting off with the 238/100's now. Wanted to know how much the 300/200's were out its map.

The best running 50/50 setup I ran witch I loved was a modded h2e and 250/200
towed great ran real strong.. horse power was in the high 5's All out..(at the track)

Towed on the 400 hp tune 1200 1250 egts if I pushed it real hard..(I think it Was like 389) on the rollers..

This setup was from years ago so tuning has come a long ways..

How much LB/min does the 468 flow?? Cant be much more then the HX55 I have. If any... The turbo I have flows 95 to 100 LB/min

S468fmw flows 95lbs a min and is a lot better turbo and has a longer life span. I never believed holset flow charts on there smaller turbos the hx60s and 82s deff have a nasty turbine wheel that flows some air but. I'll put this s468 fmw against that hx55. For longevity and power on a 7.3 And this truck has had multiple bb precision turbos on it some garret bb turbos and 2 s400 turbos and so far this s468fmw w a 1.10 shines over the rest.

I guess we shall see how it does. So far it does really nice! I can believe the flow MAP chart. the inducer my be 2mm smaller. But the exducer is 99mm and it is not a cast wheel. It has a really nice billet wheel. You can tell they made it to flow air. I have heard lots of good about the S468. Just have not got one and most likely never will. My next setup will be ball bearing.

How well do 238/100s do with the 468? 238/100s are the largest i can/want to fo due to planed fuel system and HPOP im running..

I ran 350 200s on a adrenaline with gearhead tuning, oh with a stock turbo.
It can be done without issue.
Towed 12k through Wyo on I80.
The pull out of Laramie going E was 65 mph 1300-1350 egt.
I only wanted to buy injectors once.
