No problem, though it I'd dually as in two, not Dooley as in Thomas the writer or duel as in a fight between two people with deadly weapons to settle infractions of honor.

By the looks of this thread, a duel might not be too far off...

So the answer to your question about why the Dooley isn't affected by it is that with the inner Julie will you have got so much positive offset and once you put the outer Julie will I'm just literally got a platform that's like a foot and a half to 2 feet wide that literally stabilizes the whole unit and puts no stress on the bearings at all

How in theeee literal ***k does the bearing know whether there is a wide wheel and tire or a pair of them exerting force on the bearing?

And how have other people ran trucks off the lot, lifted them, drove them and exoerienced similar life as guys running around on 245 or 265 tires?

Oh this TyCorr is just a Brain Genius I can tell.

I have worked in engineering at the Ford Experimental Garage for way long enough to know exactly what I am talking about.
That's all we play with is Super-Duty's and Mustangs.

If you've been around long enough, you probably worked with my uncle. Maybe someone there can also explain the stress caused by significantly increased rotational mass over factory design... the comment that it has absolutely nothing to do with anything and implying that it never causes any stress is ridiculous.

Ever had a truck with forties up in the air and checked shaft play? I've literally cringed watching what the weight of larger tires can do compared to stockers .

Again, rotating mass has absolutely nothing to do with anything.
Plain and simple , it is the stress and pressures on the hubs/ bearings from the wheels sticking out so far past the engineered design. Period!

So YOU personally had bearing failure because of YOUR -38 offset tires? And know for a proven fact that is why caused it?
Still waiting for a response to this...

Jchrist there's a lot of guys that have worked in the ford garage on this forum. Hard to believe we even need a tech section.

So... he's an Android app? I'm confused what you meant by "Brain Genius"... anyone? I'm lost...

The funny thing is im actually an engineer. I designed power plants and did consultation work for companies looking for help sizing ge and Siemens equipment.

I just didn't care for it after I watched ironworkers doing rigging on a peaking plant i did engineering on in Edmonton. I got back to Chicago, turned in my credit cards, my car, and gave em my 30 day notice. Took me 8 months to get into the ironworkers union.

Yep. Been there. This was in 05. 2000 f250 6" lift 40x15.5r16s on 16x12s. At roughly 145k miles. Nothing but brakes replaced at this point. Never lost a wheel bearing.

Have ruined rear axle hub inner and outer bearings and have also replaced many on customers for the same reasons.

If you work in the engineering department at fords experimental garage why are you changing axle bearings in customers vehicles?

Still waiting strokerbro...

You seem to conveniently avoid a very simple question...
