Heated seats

So, I have finally drove my new to me truck into work on a couple of cold mornings. Is it me or possibly my truck, but I'm not impressed with the heated seats.

I could have bought a couple of other trucks that had some things I wanted but I opted to wait to find one with heated seats for the wife. Pretty sure she isn't going to be impressed either.

Thoughts??

My heated seats in my O8 get really hot. I am not sure what the problem is bud?

Good to know. Guess I'll get the multi-meter out and see if I can't figure out what is going on.

My seats get smoking hot in my 08 it just takes them about 5-10 minutes

Typically it's the elements in the seats that go for a dump.

They're not real fun to change unfortunately.

You can repair them. Once you get the cover off its easy to see where its burned out (dark spot, usually around a crease in the seat foam).

Mine also gets real hot. I wish the had a high and low option.

Mine get hot as well but, they take a bit and I think you have to be sitting in them to work...

That's how mine are they don't work unless I'm in them

agreed, if you get out or turn the truck off they turn off. Mine get nice and hot, would have loved the high low setting that my '05 f150 had.

yeah mine finally gave out on my '10 as soon as it got really cold here. Can hear the relay still kicking in but the seat doesn't get warm at all. You will notice if it is working that's for sure
