They wouldn't do me much good unless they work with a stock setup.

Cut the bolts between the block and manifolds. Then you can spin the studs out. Round up a good used set of manis. We put them back together with the ford gasket and stainless hardware.

Might as well get a new dipstick tube while you're there.

Get the dipstick tube adapter welded to the oil pan. No sense in repeating the faulty design.

Plus its about $75 just for the nut and adapter. Maybe more in todays world. If you can get the old'n apart.

Tom, I cut in between my manifold and head as cobradude suggested. Then when the manifolds came off I was able to turn the remnants out with a pipe wrench. I only had an issue with the center bolt, pass side of the block. Drilled through it with a small bit then a bit bigger one. Then used a reamer. If you want to or can reuse your manifolds.

I was thinking about doing that....I probably should. Still need to paint/coat the damn thing, too.

Yes! Dont waste your time or money. Get it welded then scuff the new oil pan. Then paint the **** out of it with whatever you choose.

I used the same silver vht paint I used on the block. Then my buddy, ever the study, notices tons of little marks where the road had been flinging shti. So we stopped painting and grabbed a couple cans of duplicolor bedliner.
