I have a 2015 CCSB F350 stock with 20,000 miles. At 15,000 miles it started making a vibration. Although its faint, you can hear it and feel it in the floorboards. Now that I'm tuned into it, it's driving me crazy.

If you stand on it from a stop, it starts at 65, is worst between 70 and 75, then goes away above 80.

Set the cruise at 73 and its almost nonstop. Add headwind, gets worse. Go uphill, gets worse. Hook my 11K# trailer up and it gets a lot worse. Going up a steep hill with my trailer and its very noticeable.

Seems to make no difference what gear its in. More you ask of the engine, the worse it gets.

The dealer looked at it, called Ford and they its most definitely pinion angle. So now the dealer has it for a couple weeks supposedly playing with the pinion angle hoping they adjust it right and make it go away.

I don't believe its the pinion angle. I towed this trailer 5000 miles (Indiana to California and back) without a single noise, now all the sudden its the pinion angle?

Dealer also told me to cut out the factory overload leaf and install airbags to help with the sag. It only sits about 1" below level with my trailer hooked up. I have a 15,000# Blue OX weight-distributing hitch for that very reason. And it makes the noise empty, so that's not it.

I've heard it might be driveshaft and might be torque converter. Anything else I can point the dealer toward?

My 15 has the same vibration at 70 mph. The whole truck shakes. Dealer has been pretty useless.

Pulled the rear shaft out completely, drive around for a while no real change.

Tires are balanced, but may have a broke cord that is causing it.? Will find that out in month or so once I put on a new set of tires for winter.

Great to hear I'm not alone.

So the dealer had it for 3 weeks. Said they checked everything and the truck is solid. Now he's saying he can't feel the vibration, so they can't fix a problem that isn't there. Such a bunch of bull****. So they're blowing me off because they can't figure out what the issue is to fix it.

My Ford customer service rep Marie said I need to get the truck to an area where the dealer can more easily replicate the problem. The dealer I went to is saying they can't feel it unloaded, and refuses to tow my trailer so it's easier to feel.

GRRRR!!!!!

I'm going to have the tires balanced for the hell of it. Or I might just buy new ones. Not sure yet.

Put them in the truck with you and you pull it.
You sure it is not axle wrap?

I put the service manage in the cab with me, with my trailer, and showed him the vibration. He acknowledged it, although he said he could "barely" feel it. Now he's CHOOSING not to feel it, even though it's there.

I really don't know if it's axle wrap or not. I guess I can mount my gopro under there and try to get a video of it. But I shouldn't have to. This is why I bought a brand new $65,000 truck, so I wouldn't have to deal with problems. This truck has been in the shop more in 20,000 miles than my Duramax did in 130,000 miles. I'm disgusted.

It does suck. In my opinion dealerships are great at being used car salesman but when it comes to warranty they don't care anymore because they get paid less to do warranty than they do out of warranty. I would be talking with the salesman and the manager about it. If they can't fix it I think it would be grounds for a replacement.

Here's the problem. They're saying there isn't a vibration. If they're not going to acknowledge the problem, then they sure aren't going to give me another truck.

You said the service writer rode with you and acknowledged it now is saying different.
Have you contacted corporate and expressed your dissatisfaction with the truck and the service writer changing his story.

It took me 6 weeks of leaving voicemails twice a week and finally somebody contacting her supervisor for me to get her to call me back and agree to cover the rental car while the dealer had my truck "for an undetermined extended length of time). She's answered two of my emails, and the last one I wrote expressing my latest concerns, she didn't reply. The last thing she said is I need to take the truck to a dealer where it is easier for them to replicate the problem because they can't fix a problem that doesn't exist.

So I need to find a dealer where there is: A), a road you can go 70 MPH with a trailer on easily, B) hills, C) not heavy traffic during dealer open hours.

Wow. Sounds like the dealers there are worse than here. I don't go to the dealers around here anymore for that reason. Can't duplicate the problem.

Still trying to track mine down, have not forgot you.

Put a go pro under, did not see much to give a hint.

Holding off putting on my new tires to maximize winter traction, will get them on pretty soon.

Well it was fine for the first 15,000 miles. What changed? That's the question.

If I can't fix it, it's getting sold.

Well finally got my new tires on last Saturday. Balanced them up, and a wonderful thing. No more high speed vibration at 70-80mph!!

One of the old ones must have had a busted cord or something.

By the way put on the factory sized 265/75/20 as I usually do. The new tires are the same as the old ones Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs.

Hope this update helps.....

I got new tires last weekend too. I haven't had the truck at highway speed yet, but I will tomorrow. I'll put an update up.

I put the Terra Grappler G2 on my truck and I can't give any information about the vibration yet. These tires are so loud and not smooth (I can't say that they really vibrate, but they kind of do) that I wouldn't be able to hear or feel the vibration anyway. That in combination with losing 3 MPG, I have to return these and get something else. Hopefully have an update later this week.
