Help with code p0087 rail pressure too low

I downloaded the latest update they had available about 2 weeks ago.... I am running the hot damn 300 tune and had the cel come on today when passing a few vehicles at once.... I got home and the P0500 code and the P0087 code showed up.... It never made any noise or ran funny jus saw the speedo flutter.. The fuel filters have less than 5000 miles on them...

I only have the Xrt pro, I cannot watch rail pressures with my setup unless I'm mistaken.....

Your going to need to try and find a way to watch it. Maybe someone will have some insite on an h&s issue i'm unaware of

Make sure .31 as the latest update and see if that helps because that update took care of mine

I have a truck that was brought to me throwing this code. Watching RP with AutoE the most I saw was approx 19k when it runs alright(which still seems sluggish to me), then when it runs bad I could hold my foot at mid throttle and RP would just jump up and down causing the truck to surge. This is an 08 6 speed btw

Just an FYI, you can watch rail pressure on the H&S, it is under ICP like I am sure you figured out...you just have to x1000

24.5 is the oil pressure thats what the mini maxx is reading

Sounds like the hpfp is going out. You could try the fuel rail pressure sensor under the passengers side valve cover but more than likely it's the hpfp.
