So what am I missing? Look at the picture. The clamp is fully bottomed out and doesnt even come close to tight.

Any help is appreciated.

Call me crazy but I'd put the boot on then try to tighten the clamp.

Boot helps lol I can't remember how I effed up but it was something simple as switching clamps or whichever side of the boot. It had been a long day and I had to have it on that night I got it. It'll fit OP.

We have had the boot on. It does not tighten correctly.

Here are the 3 clamps that came with the Stage 2.

Maybe it's to save you a few ducks since the OEM stuff is still good to go. You have the right clamps, you just need better planning when you unbox the parts.

Better planning? What is the 2nd clamp for? To hang on my wall? Every picture on the internet has the clamp that came with it securing the tube to the intake inlet like I am trying to do.....

You should have two metal tubes from NL.

#1 clamp: Secure the air filter to #1 tube.
#2 clamp secure the NL boot to #1 tube
#3 clamp secure the #1 tube and NL boot to #2 tube.

Then the smaller NL boot will connect the whole thing to the turbo. You should have one more clamp plus the OEM clamp.

It's just one tube and one boot. Likely the wrong clamp was inadvertently put in the box. A quick call to Mike would fix the issue by its easier to bitch on the Internet.

Not bitching just asking. Is he going to answer if I call him right now? If so please send me his number.

My bad I have the MidWest kit as well.

The clamp in your OP should hold the airfilter tube to the NL boot. Then use the OEM clamp to hold the NL boot to the OEM intake.
