The high beams just shoot directly to the ground and not out for distance. With the fog lights I get some static in weaker radio stations. I feel these would be awesome with some projectors to help direct all of their light. I tried angling the bulb in the housing 4 different ways and this is the best I could get. Overall I am pleased with these and I really like the look of them on the truck.

Yes the bottom pictures are the LEDs. t's a 2010. And I agree they light up the trees a lot. Would a projector cure all of this? I've read about them but never personally seen them.

have you tried adjusting the bulb in the retaining ring a little but?

also if you opt for projectors in these, be sure to check and make sure the dimension of the bulb will fit properly.

I adjusted some but I'm going to try again out on a backroad to get them out of the trees alittle. Whenever I decide to get projectors I'll be sure to ask.

I didn't read the whole thread, but have a question. Is the light output like hids?? Sharp cutoff, that sucks when you are on rolling hills?? My '14 gt the headlights are projector hids, and my fogs are led. The low beam has such a sharp cut off that unless I am on PERFECTLY flat ground, you can't see that far. Click highs on, and you see great...but I lose my fogs. I know they are bright to oncoming cars, as I get bright lighted a lot, they are not out of adjustment, and do not have a scattered poor reflector setup. I've wanted to go led, but afraid It won't be an improvement..also the hod heads don't match my led fogs..and I like the color of my fogs waaaay better. Thanks for any help.

They throw light more like a regular bulb in a stock housing. Main issue I had was with the low beams only one side of the bulb lights, so you need to rotate them to best suit you and the individual coming at you.

bumping this back up. So whats the general consensus on these bulbs in the 05-07 housings? anything negative about them at all? now that ive got switch backs in the front, they're almost brighter than my actual headlights and they don't match at all. eventually ill get around to the fog light bulbs but how does everyone like the headlight bulbs? any complaints at all?
