Was this fuel only type builds?
One of MPD's mechanics did 898 with his 450 tow rig:
Dual fuelers, MPD 30%'s, single 72, and some spray. I think it was a .110 jet but there was still plenty of fuel left over. Enough for 1000 with a bigger jet id say.

Wasn't really all that bad going 800 miles back and forth to Rudy's last oct with 16k behind it. The gearing helps. It has 4.88's remember
