I just found out why the '14 dodges have nothing they have this http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2013/10/2014-ram-2500-pickup-truck/index.htm
garbage IMO 10 foot pole material.

all 3 of the big diesel trucks have had urea since the 13's came out....so that has nothing to do with it, there are plenty of people who have done full delete's to 6.7's with urea injection. but they did change the pcm's for the 14's that's why there is no tuning out yet, its still being tested.

the new dodges are junk... worst build quality of the big three. Most recalls of the big three I believe

my brother seems to love his 14' cummins. he test drove all 3 and he felt dodge rode the best. i think it rides pretty good too with the coils in the rear, it towed over 18k no problems and that was at 1200 miles total....he a little over 5000 now and still no issues, great fuel economy too, 18mpg high/city combined, can't say the same for 6.4 yet, but i've been driving it quite aggressive still. but its holding its own at 13mpg.

I think the new dodges are more reliable than a stock 6.4. I'd give 'em that, but I've seen way too many complaints about the new trucks on the forums. The 10-12 trucks didn't seem so bad, but I've just seen too many issues on the new ones to recommend one.

We got my moms 2008 F350 King Ranch, 4 door and long bed for $20,500 in TX. Was a one owner truck. Has 160,000 miles, carfax of full service every 5,000 miles up to 156,000 miles. Oil, trans oil, trans filter, brakes and everything service religiously. Has a big brush guard and NO rust. Clean truck. Same truck in Missouri is going for $25,000 +. So wasn't a bad deal and a 10 he drive. So bout $500 in gas and diesel all together. Drove car down and rented a trailer and pulled car back.

I have given up on a used truck now it will be easier to get a new one run it till it is dead and get a new one. It may be cheaper in the long haul for financing and start up costs in the long run.

Be glad your not in CA I was stuck in the same situation but a xlt cclb 6.7 at my local dealer was 57 asking and they were selling them at that price. I ended up finding a super clean 2008 ccsb lariat with a spotless oasis for 22k there are deals you have to patient.

Wanted 55k for it. Think it will sit there awhile.

To the original poster. There is currently a 2011 rclb in the classifieds with 115k on the clock, comes with some mods, and new tires. He's at 28.5k, but states "make offer".
