My buddy has a 97 F250 and was wondering if a stock 17* HPOP off a Superduty will work on his truck. Would it just be a simple swap?

Yeah, i know for a fact they will work, and they should be identical but i'm not 100% sure on that. I yanked the HPOP off my L99 motor out of a bus and threw it in my truck one day, never touched the IPR. I'm running oil thirsty injectors and it really woke my truck up from the little i've driven it.

The only different IPR is for a 94-95. 1996 to 2003 are the same and if they look different they interchange.

I think with a 95 you have the bleed down issue using the later pump

You would need to talk with Joey he can modify a 17 degree pump to work for your 94-95 but like Tom said if you try with out the mod it will bleed down.

That is not the fix for that. The pump guys swap is the best solution to do with the motor in the truck. There is a mod that can be done to the front cover. I can hunt for it if needed. It is not for the feint of heart.
