Hpop woes

My buddy took the hpop out of his 94.5 power stroke and re sealed it also took the non serviceable plug out:doh: now it won't start tried for a little bit when we first got it back together even ran for about a minute then petered out. Supposedly he has checked ipr duty cycle through his multimeter and says 8.5 looking at icp tommorrow. Cps is a known good one, after it died it would sound like hammered ass on the number eight cylinder while cranking has wts start light. Anyway to check idm voltage? Only thing different was pulled the PCM relay so it would not fire to try and bleed air out of the system... Reservoir is full what do you guys think?

Man if I had a dollar for every time this happens.... he lost the check ball...

pull the pump, pull the service plug again and look down the hole through the ipr.... you will see the seat where it goes... then look around the area where you service it, it will look like a plastic bb.... if you can't find it get in touch with Terminator Engineering... Joey can set you up....FYI truck wont start at all until it is reinstalled..... That is all
