I would not suggest siping those...

I dont like siping any tire on a diesel pickup. They start to chunk out if you do that.

and the Goodyear MT is known for having a hard rubber compound.

id think if you did a shallow sipe it would be ok joe...

Never had an issue siping my tires. I could probably see the chunking on MT tires with siping tho. I run ATs

I would think grooving them would be better. About half the depth of the tread. If they are hard I would think they would be ok.

I've done several sets as well... And because of the siping and it allowing them to chunk out they lasted less then 15k... No thank you.

I've got right at 50,000 miles on the current set of Baja's... No Siping.
