injector question help thanks

has anyone ever had injectors just take a **** with no signs of being bad we did head gaskests on my budys truck drove it for about 40 miles ran perfect didnt beat on it at all then we went to start it and it ran like **** and now the scanner says that 4 injectors are out of it is that common or should we be looking at something diffrent? and now the truck wont even start we had some old injectors laying around so we unplugged one of the ones that was running bad and jsut plugged in an old injector and hte old one seemed to be fine but now the truck wont even start any ideas?

FICM or maybe just not plugged in all the way. Saw that before. Check volts with scanner first

Yea, if it's four, especially on the same side of the motor, I'd say check the injector harness plugs.

plugs all tight? Did you chafe a wire somewrie and it is shorting?

If its four on the same side may have a bad oring or dummy plug

Combustion gas/compression in the fuel rail would be my guess. Did you guys change all the copper washers on the injectors?

What codes do you have?

Flat rate reading. It won't start at all now?

Can you monitor ICP?

So many things it could be due to the large engine repair. Junk though the IPR, pinched harness, the list is a long one.

Before you listen to tom,dick and harry, and the 100 others that know the answer before you have even giving us detalis is stupid. So put a scan toool on it. All four injectors will have the common code weather it be circut high or circut low, they'll all be the same, if it was oil plugs leaking on that bank you'd have diferent issues. So before this goes any further. Please post all the codes. Thanks
