intercooler 6.0

I installed a 6.0 Intercooler in my truck, used to make 42 lbs boost, now making about 34 lbs... is that cause of the denser air?

Welcome to more volume of air!! Power will stay the same but you won't get so hot. It's all normal.

Was that going from no intercooler to 6.0 intercooler? That's quite a difference!

ten pounds is a fair ammount. i think i lost 5-6 lbs going from no ic to 6.0 ic my self.

I went from 40 to 32 with my set up, stayed the same power though according to the dyno.

you might want to pressure test the system...

the plastic end tanks on the 6.0L coolers don't hold up to well with higher boost setups...but if no leaks are found..just enjoy the cooler/denser intake charge.

8-10psi seems too high for an IC install. I'd think its closer to 4-6psi.

Check for boost leaks w/ a leak down check.
