Ok guys little history for ya first sign of a problem I turn the key to start the truck cel stays on truck cranks but will not start. Cycle key again starts right up. Couple days later I'm pulling up to a light on the brakes light comes on engine stalls cycle key light off starts right up. Third time I was driving down the highway about 65 hear a weird knock lose engine power not all the way pull over turn the truck off lights off when key cycles start it sounds bad again light comes on start heading home light stays on for about 1 min goes off truck drives all the way home like nothing happened.
Read the codes after the second time got a icp code cleared it and it stayed away the last time I read it yesterday I got a p1316 (idm malfunction) ran a test and got a p1277 (cylinder 7 high to low side open).
Where should I start? going to go over all the wires from the idm to the cover when I get home first then start digging in any advice is greatly appreciated thanks in advance yall.
