Just pull your drain plug and see what it looks like. My 2015 has 26,000 miles. I never used tow haul because I’m non vgt and i like having control of when to shift, decided to last weekend while headed camping. Truck was in 5th gear going down hill not on the throttle, shifted to 4th gear and rpms dropped to 800, pulled over to the side of the road. Unhooked batteries for 10 mins started back up, put it in drive and it hesitated and went straight to 5th gear. Got to the shop and pull my plug and it was nothing but burnt ass trans fluid.

Update: Uploaded ******** tunes and I'm 95% sure the problem has went away. Can't believe it. I'm on vacation, so I haven't got to put as many miles on it, or a proper relearn, but I can full throttle it without squeaks, squeals, or any other issues so far. Fingers crossed. I'll update again after I put some real miles on it.
I like SPE, I am not knocking their products at all.
