ISO - 2008-2010 F450 w/ ZF6

Looking for a unicorn. Unfortunately, I missed out on the one for sale here on this forum a few years ago.

Searching for a 2008 - 2010 F450 Pickup with a ZF6.
The more options, the better. Power windows/locks/mirrors are a must. Leather is a nice.

Mechanical issues are fine as long as the truck itself is clean. I intend to repower in either case.

Consideration also given to F450/F550 C&C as long as they are crew-cab and similarly optioned.

I know most of the 6.4's are already in the grave, and clean ZF6 trucks are getting harder and harder to find. I've been scouring classifieds and auction sites for almost a year now, but have yet to find the right truck.

Have cash, a trailer and willing to drive/fly anywhere in the lower 48 to bring one home.

I have a loaded lariat 450 4x4 in Nebraska. It is an auto but I do have a zf6 Trans from a 6.0 that could go with it soo you'd basically just have to swap the floor hump. Motor is currently pulled out, I was going to put it together next week and sell running but I'd consider selling as is if you're interested. Has no rust but the drivers side box side has some damage. A flatbed or one box side would be needed to make it perfect. Let me know if you're interested.

This is what I’m finding as well. It seemed like there were a few out there pre-COVID, at reasonable prices even, but with truck prices being what they are for both new and used I don’t blame folks for hanging on to them. Great minds think alike.

Interior needs a good detail job but it will clean up nice. 170k miles. Make me an offer. Was thinking around 6k but the box damage obviously hurts it. Literally have a fresh engine sitting here for it, but I have other places for that engine if this truck would sell.

I am really considering buying a KR in the '08 - '10 style and would really like to have a 6 speed standard. I know the KR only came with an auto, but would this swap be a major job or can be done over a weekend kinda thing??

My problem is that I don’t know if I could put together the money that quick, without selling my shitass 6.0 first. We’ve had a summer from hell and every bit of rat holed cash is gone at the moment.

Kind of glad you didn't take it. I'm thoroughly enjoying driving it. Found a 16 box in mint condition a couple hours away that I paid 800 for with both bumpers and tailgate. It will be a nice truck for someone when I decide to sell here in a few weeks.
