Gotta love revolving lay-offs with the gov. I work for them through a sub. Job security lol

I was in a term position, GS, the position got deleted and when my term was up I was gone. I had notice and all that but there were a lot of us in the same boat.

That blows. Even with notice that can be a difficult ordeal. Any leads on open positions elsewhere?

I've got my resume out a lot of places, had a few interviews, usually get called back for a second and they choose the other guy. Some of those positions have opened back up and I have my resume back in the hat. I'll find something but any new leads is always great.
