Didnt bend any valves though. Used the same valves when I had it rebuilt. What I feel I ***ed up on is that I didnt replace the lifters...

Compression tests really don't change much cold vs hot. Maybe 5 psi or so
I've done many hot and cold comp tests and they don't change much, 10% is the rule of thumb as far as having a balanced running engine, most good comp tests are 400 or above and seen several in the 450 range.
400+ is a great motor, but can have one at cylinder as low as 300 and still be balanced. My personal motor is 380-410 all the way across at 247k miles fwiw

mine had 350-380 with 190k accept for#3 which was 250 and #4 which was zero... but #3 did have some chunks out of the cylinder
