it can but in the easy side of things it is only to switch from 26 to 36 gallon tank. There is another chart you have to use by the gallon but i have not been able to really figure that out. I think in ids you can basically input the gallons you need

No, that isn't the case with IDS. It only has a preset list of tank sizes to choose from, just like tire sizes. 26 and 36 are the standard size tanks, but the list goes on up to 80 gallons I think. Weird increments though...

good to know. I am sure there is some relation to the code and how many gallons. Not sure how you would check that tho...

Forscan can shut that off easy. Pretty cool

Never heard of this. Is it user friendly? Do you know if it will shut off hyper flash on a 09? I was going to send mine to Ford to be done, I hooked up my autel and didn't see anything I could change with it.

It uses as built data and yes it's user friendly you will need to buy a ELM327 connector to make it work and get the free advanced license. Not sure if the 08-10 trucks can be shut off but I think they can

Thanks! I see they recommend the 100.00 dollar dongle thing but you say elm327 and when I look that up they are cheap but lots of different ones. Which one are you using? I don't mind buying the 100.00 dollar one if that's what I need but if a 15.00 one will work I'll rock that lol.

There's a guy selling the IDS software on ebay for like $50. Says it's all you need along with a 64 bit windows laptop and connection.I thought about getting it just to have.

I bought the wireless ELM adapter but I can't get it to do anything. I loaded the disc and went to the website and it thought I downloaded everything but the lights o the adapter do not light when plugged in and my laptop does not see it in the wi-fi search? Was thinking about ordering a USB to OBD cord and returning the Wi-Fi one.
