little dvd help please

Ive searched and looked and searched again how can I get the factory nav/dvd to play without being in park

You have to ground one of the wires, but i dont remember which one. For some reason i want to say purple...

The Wire that you would hook to the parking brake, you just have to ground it to the frame somewhere.
