I have 08 6.4 with innovative tunes loaded with a livewire. I used to leave it plug in all the time so I could watch temps. It worked fine and never had a problem. A month pr so ago I unplugged the programmer and left the cable hooked to the obd port, it stayed like that till a week ago, I hooked the programmer up to watch the temps and it couldn't communicate. It turned on but wouldn't do anything else. Today I tried to read the obd codes and the same thing happen. then to read the strategy and that failed to. Didn't show an error code or anything. Could I have a bad link cable? The truck runs and drives fine.
