hmm thanks for the input all, sounds like a S468 with a smaller turbine housing will work for the >6k towing i do but keep it around 550-600hp. Not looking to go over 238/100s due to the need for oil over a hybrid injector.

I will be picking up a HFSB in the spring, need to upgrade from the QSSB. Since it doesn't seem like anyone really has one here ill have to post a review on it once I do the upgrade.

that 372 a little easier to fit under the cowl then a 400 series? dont know if a 372 is any bigger then a 366... i know something like a 468 can be a bit tight

FWIW, the dodge guys around me all call the S300's "hand grenades."

If I was gonna put anything more than small hybrid to it, I'd recommend a larger frame turbo.

Depends on the specs of the turbocharger. For a box stock S366 I would agree, as drive pressures can get pretty high when pushed very hard.

The Bell Turbos are based off the same S300 frame, but with the turbine wheel and turbine housing it uses, drive pressures at 40-psi boost are still close to 1:1, we have lots of them running around at 500-540hp (238 and 250 Hybrids) without issue.

I do love my 468! It spools great and flows great on the top end. Just used it towing 10,000+ this weekend without an EGT issue!

You can get a fully built s366 for dodge application to make over 800rwhp I'm sure you can build one for a 7.3 to make 600 gated with a 1.10 turbine housing upgraded thrust bearings.
