Bungart Motorsports of Jefferson City, Missouri and the National Association of Diesel Motorsports is hosting a Sled Pull Workshop at the Missouri State fairgrounds for all trucks, tractors and vehicles of all pulling Associations gas or diesel following their Association’s safety standards and classes.
Location: Missouri Sate Fairgrounds, 2503 West 16th Street, Sedalia, MO 65301
When: May 5, 2012, Gates open at 10 am and pulling starts 12 pm.
There will be three Bungart Motorsport’s sleds pulling on two tracks where you can test your truck’s ability to pull the sled down a 300 foot dirt track at different settings during the day. This is a unique opportunity to test your truck’s ability and for adjustments before the pull season begins in most areas.
Also available will be a dyno for trucks to test their settings against the dyno and to re-adjust their tuning.
Admission for the workshop will be $10 per person and $30 per truck for pulling all day as many times as you can get into the day. All proceeds for the day will be donated to the American Cancer Society!
There will be manufacturers and industry experts to help with technical questions regarding the tuning of your truck for the pulling season.
At the end of the day there will be a combined competition for all 2.6, 2.8, and 3.0 pulling trucks. The payout is 1st-$300, 2nd-$200, and 3rd-$100. We (Little Power Shop) have decided to throw an extra $500 cash to the first place winner to be awarded by the Little Power Shopettes at the end of the pull. We will be there anyways set up with our trailer full of goodies and products. Might as well throw some extra fuel money to the guy who lets it all hang out this early in the season!
So, get off your butts. Blow the dust of those diesels and come party with us!
