Mini max tuning question

Ok so my trucks has sat so long with out the batteries hooked up that I have the anti theft light coming on. I was told that I would need to go to ford to fix that issue. Even though that point is still far down the road I wanna be prepare. So my question is if I bring it to ford and they have to flash the computer or whatever, and I was unable to tune it back to stock, is there gunna be an issue when i go to put my tunes back in it? There shouldn't be as long as the VINs are the same correct? Thanks in advance

I would check the white main connector under the degas bottle before suspecting this condition . look for corrosion inside connector . let me know what ya find .

Also the top end of the engine is off, heads, turbos, etc. but I was told that shouldn't matter.

you're going to be fine. honestly, don't even unload your tuner from the truck

I had the same exact thing happen with one of my trucks that sat for a long time getting a motor

Thanks man. I just had to ask to make sure they wouldn't reflash it and have it mess up my tunes. Is the theft deterent thing something I can do? Is it like just reprogramming the key?
