Got the stage 3 from Adrian this past Wednesday. I put stainless ARP bolts in the compressor housing...sick of the stock ones rusting. Also put a turbo blanket on it. I really missed the polished compressor housing on my 64mm non vgt I use to have...so I tried polishing it up the best I could. Eric sent me a couple x-street tunes for testing. Once we dial in the x-street, we'll work on dialing in the x-x tune. I'll post readings later.

I drove the truck yesterday morning to test out the x-street tunes from Eric for this stage 3. One had early lockup and the other had late lockup...other than that the reading of both were the same. Cruising 65mph with 15% throttle...egts were 730-750*, boost was 2psi, BP was 2-3psi and vgt% duty cycle was at like 37%. I need to have boost at about 6-8psi while cruising at 65mph so that it'll respond much better...I think that'll be huge. I told Eric what I want changed.... so just waiting for some revisions before we move on to the x-x.

What's your first impression of the Stage 3 over the Hybrid? Not trying to turn this into a pissing match, but was it as big of a difference as you expected it to be?

Low boost cruise will help fuel economy though purely for the fact that there will be less backpressure. Maybe he can get fancy with the VGT duty cycle so that if you go over x% throttle input and engine load goes to x% it starts to close down the veins to get it to spool up.

Actually that isn't the case with my truck. It hasn't made a difference at all.the more boost while cruising has no affect on fuel economy.

The unrevised x-street tune tune with the stage 3 feels like it has more power and is more responsive than the hybrid with the x-x tune so far.
