are you doing all this work your self?

I wish! I'm not doing any of it, don't have a lift or have friends with a lift. 1000 to pull the cab, and r&r any parts on top or sides of the motor, so turbo, up pipes intake manifold, exhaust manifold, fuel bowl delete, egr delete, nozzle swap, hpfp any or all of that, and whatever else is up there is included in that first 1000, then to pull the heads and get them checked, studded and swap in new rockers/lifters, hd springs and push rods is another 1000 and then pulling the motor and dissasembling and reassembly is another 1000 for hd pistons, cam and rods.

:jawdrop: :nono: you can buy a cheap lift, install and come out better then that! IIRC my lift cost $900 for 9K lift used, install cost about 150 with wire, breaker, and anchor bolts. Plus you can lift mowers and **** up. its very useful.

I don't have anywhere to set the lift up, nor do i have the tools or time to accomplish this job. my days a packed tighter then i want them to be in the fall/early winter. then i have an abundance of free time while i'm waiting for snow, but have no place to work on my truck yet. getting a house or buying a piece of land and building a shop with living quarters is next on my list for big purchases. or finding a house with a garage big enough for my truck would suffice. I think i'm just gonna do the first 1000 this time around and wait until i have a house to do much more which could be next summer depending on how this years taxes play out.

May could find a bay with a lift for rent?

Either way, I would wait on truck parts then. Buy your house and land first, then mod truck. In the mean time buy all your parts and it won't seem like such a large purchase. If I could do back, I would have just replaced up pipe and kept gathering parts but hind site is always 20/20. Would have prevented such a large with draw out l my bank account.

sled pull, I've been slacking on building my truck, but did my first pull over the weekend and been drag racing it and driving the piss out of the truck over the last 4 weeks i put on about 4,000 miles. 0 issues. my first pull was a full pull plus 15' I have a set of adjustable bump stops being made, and a set of extremely heavy duty traction bars being made as well. also the set of 6.0 manifolds i bought a while back have been ceramic coated. I might pick up some 6.0/6.4 up pipes soon and maybe a few other small pieces before winter. but nothing big before winter, I have a lot of necessities to buy for snow removal, before my work comes to a halt sometime in December.

well my hd up pipes are being built, hopefully they will be done soon, i've been pretty busy with snow plowing, i picked up my brand new plow and a brand new ariens snow blower between the balance i owed the dealer for the plow and the new ariens they set me back about 4800 so that put a dent in my toy funds, but i'm picking up a sdp wastegate kit with pre welded down pipe, and hd passenger side up pipe and egr delete for smokin deal. like 650 dollars so while i don't need it right it too good a deal to pass up.

Now my next question is which atmo should i get rcd's 75 or Elite 76? hoping to have one of them with bunch of other parts on by the end of March.

so far i'm leaning towards the rcd 75 and really considering ordering a 59 so they can both go on at the same time to really knock the back pressure issue out of the park and drop egt's to safe levels...
