I'm dealing with my 02 with a ZF and the stub shaft seal is torn. My searches don't turn up anything. What's the name of this thing and where can I get one?

And yes, if your stub shaft seal tears, there is a high risk of pregnancy.

Wish I could help, I have an auto. The stub shaft of the trans. That would be a tail shaft.

The shaft between the trans and the transfer case is an intermediate shaft.

This is on top. The shift lever stub. I can get a picture of it tomorrow.

The little rubber boot right on top? or the seal underneath? Mine's torn as well. Midwesttrans can probably help you out on that. IIRC they make a short shift kit for the ZF6 too
