That idea of getting one from Ford swapping out valves and letting Ford eat it is stupid. A part goes bad, so instead of getting it fixed do the dishonest thing and let the next guy worry about it. Why cause they are a big corporation so *** them? That's what raises prices etc for all of us.

Honestly being a business owner I've encountered the attitude of DGAF for other peoples stuff more then I care to recall. We get that attitude a lot in the oil patch. It has costed me hundreds of thousands of dollars over the past 11 years... And I only have 3 gravel trucks to accumulate that debt. My business is tiny and that's what I'm left with because employees/people just don't care if it isn't their investment. Although turn around and do that to them and they will cry and cry and cry and cry and cry.
Do I 100% disagree with Shane... No. Would I do it to Ford, *** no. I love Ford, more so I love what Henry Ford stood for and his true pursuit of perfection. I stand by that company because of the founding man and I like some of their products. Would I do it to some global conglomerate that intentionally suppress the common man, woman and child? I'd want to, but they would just turn around and *** us even more.
Really... At the end of the day what does a dishonest act really prove, no matter who the victim is? We need to change this world for the better with acts of wisdom rather then add to the ***king sh!t show.

Maybe taking it back for full refund is a bit much. But swapping valves and getting your core back is completely legit. That's what core is, returning damaged or broken parts for some return.
