He can try these guys, never done work with them myself, but hear good things about them. They are located closer to where your friend is.

I know they are more of a Dodge shop, but they work on anything. I was just in there and they were throwing a ton of Elite parts on a f250. LeftCoast has a new shop in Livermore which is about 30-40min from San Jose.
