Thats rad! I bet that sucker is.smooooth. I think.the bottom.end.being held stable goes a long way towards making the motor.smooth. Or maybe its the fluidampr?

Glad to hear.

thank you sir!

still up in the air on the billet wheel.... i think it feels better, but boost is about the same and not 100% on egts... dont know if its time to gut my back pressure valve or not but i think that would help some... dont know the exact limitations of when it starts hindering performance...i did notice when i swapped wheels that its leaking exhaust out the bottom where the rod hooks to the valve... kinda squeaky when i flopped it back in forth on the bench...

maybe if i get bored and its not that hard to do, ill pull the turbo out and delete the valve... i really like it for winter warm ups though.... anyone come across a write up on deleting the ebpv?

You talking about the pedestal or the butterfly valve in the turbine housing discharge?

I have a gutted outlet if you want it... Try it, if you dont like it send it back. If you like it keep it and send me yours so I can gut it.

Easy cheeesy.

Yea. I even used two.small cutoff of the rod to "plug" the holes. Welded em in.

dam joe, that would be sweet!! but i don't know if i can have mail sent here at the rv park.. its run by a casino (that is literally 40 yards in front of my trailer) so i am not sure on it.. ill have to ask... i will ask my foreman if i can have it delivered to the job too... how hard would it be to do on the tailgate of my truck and what is needed to do it? i would prolly have better chances to do it myself then getting one mailed one mailed to me...

remove the exhaust outlet from the turbo.. cut/grind the 2 rivets holding the butter fly and remove the butter fly..on one end of the rod on the out side of the outlet you will see a tiny snap ring..pull it out and the rod should slide strait out.. some have to cut the rod in 2 and take it out in pieces.. plug the hole where the snap ring was with a 3/4 freeze plug... outlet is done..on the pedestal you need to remove the adjuster then pull the snap ring from the disk on the back side.. push the rod, springs and gaskets out though the back... tap the hole for a pipe plug and pipe dope or use a locking nut and bolt with some gray death...glad your trip went well...

The one I have is welded up and has all the left over bronze removed. Its more or less a mini ported outlet.

I've had it for a few years (along with stacks of other crap...LOL). Let me know and I'll grab it this weekend.

You should probably gut the pedestal too. That pos leaks if you leave it hanging.

prolly not an easy task on the tailgate of the truck in the rv park... if i unplug it, it wont activate and run in and out.. hasnt leaked yet but i guess i could see it start to leak with it just dangling there...

i should have said it different i know its doable, ive done many odd things on the tailgate fixing **** on the farm... i should have said finding the parts and correct size tap would be the hard part and i also meant doing the entire thing in case i cant get that outlet from joe... cuz i dont carry grinders or torches with me.. and finding someone at work that sticks around on a day off is slim to none...

A grinder would get it handled mostly. Go to the front.desk.of the rv park. You can get mail.

Id send you mine, after gutting but im not sure when Ill get to it. Barder sells em for like 40 bucks, iirc, the outlet. But Joe.already made a better offer. The pedestal is usually about $100.
