Need advice on buying 2008 f250

Hey guys yall probly getting annoied by me posting threads, in serious need of opinion on the price of this f250.

i wouldnt pay over 17k

The thing about 6.4s is there are good ones and there are bad ones. You really need to have it checked over and run things like a power balance and drive it warm watching deltas to have have a chance at finding a good one. I wouldn't pay over 12k for that truck if it had issues that I could identify. But if it was a really great running truck with a good oil cooler and a perfect power balance, then 18-20k isnt a bad deal. Its a crap shoot from a distance.
