Whats the trick to getting those engine mounts to give up there grip. I have removed the 4 nuts on the underside of the cross member and when I lift the motor the whole front end is coming with it.

There is still the engine weight on the front springs. So you will be lifting the engine for a bit before it actually starts to lift from the frame. I think that is what you are talking about.

got it sorted bruva. I was using a strap on the lift points and it was lifting more from the rear than the front. Ended up grabbing a piece of solid round, feeding it through the eyelets. Put the clamps from my weights bar on each end to stop it from shifting. Got a nice straight lift and out she came.

Glad to see you or it out . So What is the plan with this motor?

I will hang on to it until Im confident with my new motor then try to off load it. Although there aint much call for them over here. Most probably hang on to it and build her up at a later date.
