I am looking at getting a leveling kit for a 2012 F-250. I'm trying to figure out what the easiest way to go is to clear 20x10s with at least a 33" tire. I would prefer to have 35s but I also don't want to spend $1000 on a lift kit. I'd love to see some different setups. I am also entertaining the idea of 20x9s just not sure if they will give me the stance Im looking for. Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

You can clear 35s on 20x10 no problem. you will need to trim some of the plastic fender liner, and trim or remove the outer bumper brackets.

2.5" Leveling Kit, 35s, and 20x10 or 22x10 is very very common. 33s will look to small IMO.

I can set you up with a complete kit to fit your budget and needs. Email me, [email protected] and i can get you some wheel pricing and options, suspension parts, etc etc.

uploadfromtaptalk1427227631639.jpgthis is a 1.5 in spacer that goes beneath the mount for the spring, 20x10 and 35x12.50s. I'm just getting ready to switch things up here shortly. whatever you do I'd get a top mount coil spacer if I did it again

I have a 1.5 inch rough country leveling kit. I went with all new springs instead of a spacer. I took my fender flares off and trimmed the back wheel well out and cut off the front bracket of the bumper and clear everything. 35-12.50-20 toyo mt with 20x10 fuel with a -24 offset.

He is a picture with my old 20x10s same offset and tires. Just don't have and current pictures of my new rims.

Nice looking truck man! Do those wheels, being wider and having a -24 offset throw a lot of stuff down the side of your truck. I just bought a 2012 silver with grey two-tone on the bottom so it has the extra fender flare like yours does too. I had to put bushwhackers on my 6.4 running 35in Nittos on 20x10s with a -12 offset because they were throwing way to much stuff on my truck. I farm so my trucks are far from pavement queens!

you can learn 35's just fine with a 2.5" leveling kit on 20x10's especially a 12.50 my 13.50's to just a tiny bit of trimming

Thanks. Yes with the negative offset the tires throw everything down the side of the truck. You can't even hit a puddle on the country roads without throwing the water down the side of the truck. I wasn't a fan of the colored fenders on mine, too much gold or beige whatever you wanna call it. They are screwed on in the inner fender and double sided tape. Once the screws are out they will just peel off.

If you go with a 2.5 get the radius arm drop brackets, without em the steering is "touchy" and you can get bump steer.

With a 2.5" kit without a trac bar relocation bracket or radius arm drop brackets, has anybody seen any adverse effects as far as wandering or shaking goes?

I did the 2.5 kit and didn't do the track bar or radius arm drop and I'm probably going to do it soon. It is really touching on the steering going down the highway and it is just hard to explain the difference in how it steers. I wouldnt recommend doing the kit without the Trac bar bracket.

I did the Ready Lift stage 3. Rides just like factory. I added Fox shocks all around and much better than stock.

yes. without the trac bar bracket the axle sits about an inch towards the drivers side. looks like crap.

without the radius arm mounts the caster is way off and you get a funny steering feel and a ton of road feedback. death wobble is possible.

dont cut corners.

Agreed! And you can make it a 3.5" with the radius kit.
