Any chance you've ran a fuel gauge to see how well it maintained pressure under full load with the 238s? A single stock style pump would be a lot cheaper....

I haven’t, unfortunately. It’s been on the list, but if I’d quit blowing up the race truck I’d have more time to do it. It sounds like we’re planning on throwing 250/100s in this thing at some point, so I’m sure Im gonna have to check it at that point. We don’t see any noticeable cliff on the dyno graphs, that’s not to say it’s not gradually losing pressure in the higher rpm’s, but for the power it’s making and the normal dyno graph line, I’d say it’s probably good.

Been a while buddy, glad all is well!
Just my opinion;
Small hybrid, turbo of choice and dual fuel pumps.
Had a pump crap the bed while I was 400mi from home and kept driving till I got home then replaced it with a warranty from the parts store.
Held pressure just fine with 350/200s after I switched to the smallest tune and drove easy.
I do love simplicity and the availability of these parts make the difference for me.

Hey christ, hope you've been well also!
I had to retire the the blue truck, and bought a single cab long for another tow pig. Swapping it to drw wheel, etc.
I am going exactly the route you suggested, just looking at a single fuel pump for room. This frame is a lot tighter, lol.
I still have all the big hp stuff on the shelf that never made it to the first truck, but my boy bought a beautiful 95 pickup that may get a bunch of goodies before we get done.

Slow progress, in between work. Got the tank mods done, and a stock pump and filters on the rail, sorry no pics of that.
Working on the rr and turbo r and r. Pretty sure nothing on top has ever been touched.

I didn't take any pics, but the uppipes and 38r are both back in their happy place. No pics, but I did run it down the road tonight. Sorting out little fuel line leaks, and that kind of dumbsh!t, but it ran well enough. Got it hot enough to cook the paint on the pipes, lol.
I did have a brake line split, it was one of the stock originals, so glad we caught that before I headed out with a trailer!
I think I'll get a few miles on this setup , at least till I can get the fun stuff together. Try and get a couple pics up tomorrow.

Couple pics, the fuel is pretty basic, but it's been working for several hundred thousand miles across 4 trucks. I'm not sure the hitch will be there when I get done, but I've gotta haul a trailer this week, lol.

Got it on the road with a half assed twilight setup, good enough till I get time to build an actual bed. No I didn't take any pics of that!
I've put 20-30 miles on the truck, just to shake out any bugs. Gotta change the o rings on the hpop lines at the heads, I guess 2 or 3 times in and out is enough, and they are seeping now. Exhaust is touching the cross member somewhere, makes a rattle occasionally, and I've gotta change the breaking oil in the rear axle. Other than that, it's there. Time to hook up a trailer. Yes it's loud.

That's how I feel about it as well. I've had mine for sixteen and half years now. Plus it was my first vehicle.

Not till the body rusts away, or the engine is wore out....

Then just find a new body or a new engine and keep it going.
