Did you re connect the main harness on the driver side valve cover ?

Pull your chip off and make sure you have cleaned it properly if its your first one. Try cranking with the chip out.

Yes it will run without tuning. As asked already does the wts light come on? You didny by chance have the key in the ignition while you pulled the chips in and out of the pcm did you?

That the motor and the key are talking :D Your wait to start light should come on and go off once the glowplugs have cycled.

And you do realize with an injector swap its not just gonna start up like normal. The best way Ive figured out is crank it for 10 seconds, let it sit for 10 minutes. Go back crank again for 10-15 seconds and again let it sit for 10 min. Go back and crank for the 3rd time sometimes it will take 30 seconds or more to fire but it should fire off faster then that.

You have an 03 so the tach wont move, but by cranking long enough it should build oil pressure.

And yes you can take the chip out and it will start and run and drive. Just it will run rough. If you happen to start it without the chip let it run for a few minutes at least before you shut it off. Then re-install your chip, make sure its cleaned properly(As if its not the WTS light will stay on) If you have installed it into the silicone you will have to clean the chip out as well.

Thats normal. You have alot of oil to move around. And alot of entrapped air to work out.

It takes a bit of cranking.
