[offtopic] Shipping Tires / Rims Cost?

Looking to buy a set of 22" BMF's with Nitto 420s off a member here and UPS is telling them they want $400+ to ship from NC to California. Does this sound right? Is there a cheaper way to ship them?

just fyi i got 22 hoss xds and 37 trail grappelers mounted and balanced for $2719+228(S&H), from uhh pm me so i dont get in trouble.. hes outta IL and im in wa state....

All brand new with new lugs... I think he quoted me 15 apeice for new tpms too

I think R&L Carriers are good for this. That way he might be best putting them on a pallet. UPS is not great for bulky items.

Hmm... I wonder what he would want for some 22's on Nitto 420s... Should be pretty cheap.
