Oil pan seal

CTFFEMT, mine didn't have a wear ring either.

Well got the rear plate and pan re siliconed along with a rear main. Let that silicone set over night and hopefully it holds this time! Third time's a charm right?

Anyone know what the optimum temperature and setup time is for the silicone? Shop is about 75- 80°F right now.

It will actually be sitting until Tuesday so it better be. But I had the shop nice and warm for 20 hours anyways. The excess seemed pretty cured.

I admire your tenacity. Seems these things can leak everywhere. I sure hope you have it fixed. Im waiting for warm weather to tackle mine.
