Over 600hp on stock turbo?????!!!

Just saw a couple of posts stating that they were getting over 600 HP out of a stock turbo... I was just curious as to if this was even plausible and how?

We have a good customer with studs,SCT, 175/75cc injectors and a full stock fuel system and stock turbo making 525rwhp on 35s...I have no idea how, but he does...so I'm sure with spray you could...

That sounds like a blown turbo waiting to happen. However, I had a good buddy who had 190/100's on his stock turbo/fuel system, and I was positive he was gonna pop the turbo within a few thousand miles, but the damn thing held up until he sold it.

Back in late 2007 my truck did 770 rwhp and ran an 11.77 at 115 with 190s,stock 03 turbo,stock tranny and a big shot of spray

when i first bought my truck in 04- buddy of mine(he got me into the powerstrokes, i was dodge boy previously) had an 03 sonic blue, 190/100's(which was just about the only injector i think u could get back then other than 180/75s?) stock 03 turbo, edge tuner, and nitrous, ran 11.90's down the 1/4 and did it a hand full of times. not sure what the hp was but over 600 with that time slip

I would have to agree that it could be done, apparently it has been done with bigger injectors and a hefty amount of spray, but who are we kidding here that is sorely out of the efficiency range for the stock turbo. How long it would actually last like that only time would tell
