P0480 Fan clutch?

Checking codes, no CEL but pulled a p0480 code. Checked the connector on the shroud and everything seemed good to go. Cleared code and checked again a few days later and code is still there. Truck doesn't get hot whatsoever. Should I just replace the fan clutch? You can hear it kicking off and on when the AC is on... Just don't want to go chasing ghosts and purchase wrong parts.

it will be a chaffed wire on the lower rad support i bet. start chasing the harness...

i had the same problem on my old 08 and it would never overheat unless i had my snowplow on a blocked all the airflow.
