Had a truck come in with tow haul light flashing and customer complaining of higher rpms while running down the freeway. Test drove and found no 2nd or 6th gear. Pulled codes p0756 and p2701 cleared and did a self test and nothing returned. Test drove again and when trans would go for 2nd gear tow haul light would flash after no gear ratio change. Pulled the pan down which was clean and pulled solenoid b out. Tested solenoid and pulled it apart to clean and all looked good. Did a amperage test while actuating with scan tool and the solenoid did what it was told. Next step was to get trans out and apart so did so and here is what I found
