Hi my dads check engine light came on in his 2010 f350 its all stock except for a sct. Truck runs great. P2002 Diesel Particulate Filter Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) Can someone fill me in on this? Is something wrong or what thanks? Does the dpf need to be cleaned?

nope, i been trying to find info on this im not having any luck at all the truck has probably close to 200,000 on it

200,000 and stock DPF. I bet it is gone.
IIRC it could also be the MAF because the DPF uses it for flow reference.

i know it has atleast 160 and pulls everyday. Do they clean these or do you need to buy a new one?

I have not heard of cleaning them, other than the regen cycle on the truck. Doesnt mean it he cant have it cleaned.
I would check the MAF though to make sure it doesnt have broken wires and is not dirty. I know the code you are getting used to be related to aftermarket intakes and or the MAF.

i plugged mine once upon a time.

was using a tuner, with the dpf still on.

take it off, take it to the pressure washer, stick the nozzle all the way inside, squeeze handle, and slowly work it around.

it will free up.

you will have to work it from both ends, and it will take several minutes, but eventually the pressure washer will start to free it up.
