Hey guys that little blue egr hose that runs under the turbo in my truck is leaking. I ordered the new hose through ford and got the part today and its not the same blue hose thats on my truck currently. My truck does have an EGR delete so the hose just uses hose clamps, i guess my question is do i still use the factory ford hose or do i need to order a hose from a vender to work with an egr delete?

Sorry for the dumb question, and thanks ahead of time for your help.

Go to your local parts store and get some silicone coolant hose. I believe its 5/8s.

Yea if you are deleted then the factory parts don't fit. I think there was one company offering a delete with that fancy hose, but 99% of all deletes out there are just silicone hose and hose clamps.

Is it the hose itself leaking or can you crank down on the hose clamps to stop the leak?

I tightened the clamps and it slowed the leak the but its still dribbling just a little bit. I was just afraid of over tightening it so maybe ill try cranking down on it a little harder and see what happens
