So, I called PI yesterday to order a converter for my 5r. Talking to Mike, explaining to him that I am running a 12v, with the destroked setup, in front of my 5r110. He suggests that I run a 1500-1600 Stall, and makes it a clear point that the cummins setup likes a nice tight converter. When I am just about through placing my order, I double check that it is a 6 bolt converter (04 Superduty) and he says he doesn't have any record of ever building any 6 bolt 5r110 converters? Am I going crazy here, or is something screwy?

:whs: i verified with my precision tc as it has bolt patterns for both transmissions.

where the misunderstanding may lie is that the converters actually have enough holes to be compatible for both 6.0 and 6.4 patterns. technically-it is not a six bolt or eight bolt design!

Even better! Thanks guys! I didn't even realize, I thought these had studs, rather than holes.
