Warren injectors, no leaks, already checked,

I have 175/75 and this is the reason I am not putting them in yet......I already have an ii stage 1 but am waiting on a mtw stage 2 for pulling.
I figured I would just tell Matt to pull as much fuel as possible to start with and then maybe increase bit by bit from there.
How have you gone about it?

I wish it didn't run that hot, just running 65 and hitting a hill I can hit 1250*, what should I be seeing for max boost?

My bad, rpms stay at 1000 till I get to 15 mph. Egts ideal around 500-600, takes awhile to cool to 400, like 5 minuets.

Is there a way to get it to return to ideal like it was stock?
What should I be seeing for boost on my tow tune?
What are others, and should I see for egts on a 15-100 mph full throttle run? I'm at 1500-1600.

That's pretty Hott. I'm thinking maybe a boost leak somewhere especially if your boosting low. With injectors I think you should be boosting higher than me with stock injectors. I recently replaced my map boost line and gained 3 pounds of boost. Check your cac tubes maybe if you have the plastic up pipe maybe it's cracked? That's weird man hope u find the issue

Updata on my set up, got a new injector put in, one was acting up, then put in my stock ficm flash. Now the only tuning I have is PCM, egts are lower, boost is up a few psi, 15-110 max egts are 1450-1500 max boost is 34 when locks up over drive. pulling my 5th wheel, only about 10 miles egts were a lot easier to control. I could hold 70 mph at 1100-1200*. The powermax lights off quick, still a little slow with a big load, but it don't bother me.

Shoot, I had 190/75's with my PowerMax and towed heavy load frequently. I don't remember ever breaking 1250* with my tune from Matt.

Was all checked out, thin air at 5000' and the way I drive is part of my higher temps, lol. I put it in drive, tow haul and drive, if it satays around 2000-2500 rpms it's a little cooler. I leave for Texas tomorrow, so will see how it does.

Good to hear, temps don't sound bad at those elevations. I'm interested to see how it does on your trip. I'm thinking pmax and 155's. I already have the intercooler. The Soot intake manifold was a waste but Odawg seems to have a better one. When we get a chance, going to do mine. Exhaust manifolds should help too.

Is for sure go with gearhead to tune that pmax TWAN. And a ported manifold will light up super fast.

OCoutdoors drop your manifold off today slacker. I'm tryin to get yours and Logan's done at the same time

I have a couple tow tunes from Matt I need to try again, egts are doing a lot better without my ficm being tuned. On my street tune in Texas I was seeing 1350*, but my intercooler boot keep blowing off. Will have a intake after the first of the year.
