Good luck with the build, can't wait to see it pull, i'll deff vote for you for dpc. but you're one of the salesmen for rcd and you run elite turbo's instead of rcd lol.

We work very closely with Elite. I had told Tadd I would be willing to do real world endurance testing on the 76.7 when it came out, as our 75mm had already been proven. So when they were designed JD and myself got the first two. I don't get why people make a fuss when two large companies do back an forth sales and testing.

Why would you want an out of date turd like a 6.0 to be entered? What you should want are the most competitive and capable trucks that Ford has to offer to be entered. Right now it's the 6.4, only because they have been out longer and there are more parts, better tuning, and more built trucks running around. The 6.7 will catch up and probably surpass with time. Entering a 7.3 or a 6.0 is just a waste of time and a spot in the competition for Ford to succeed. They are nice trucks, don't get me wrong. Tons of cool 6.0s running around. They just don't make the power that modern trucks do.
You have the same junk heads we do. There's a few 6.0s that need a few tweaks and will be right there with you as far as hp goes. Don't get me wrong your truck is sweet but there's no reason a purpose built 6l couldn't out perform a "built" 6.4 at dpc.

I posted a good vid of yours in the Rudys thread if you haven't seen it yet.

I agree. But the 6.0 is disliked by so many that it will be hard to get into dpc.

Alright,

I'm due for an update I guess..

Long block is complete.

Ended up getting a smoking deal on an Elite Twin Fueler, Thanks Tadd, and we literally just finished a set of Balanced 100% New OEM Ford Injectors for it. Also got a Race Fuel Cooler to clean up things as well.

Engine is currently only waiting on a set of Rocker Arms, have been waiting on Empire since June but my patience for open promises is long past. It's going back together with OEM components.

Went with a slightly different converter to help get off the line harder if we make DPC, and gotta do the gear swap from 4.56's to 4.30's next week hopefully, we've been so damned busy I cant get anything done, but that's been going on for 4 years.

Ended up trashing my 59 so I had to grab a new one, otherwise its been a pretty smooth process.

My old block tested perfect, so I knocked it .010 over and put it together with Carrillos for another member on here to abuse.

Hoping to be running by February First and on the dyno shortly after. I want at least 2-3 months hard running time on this before DPC, if we make it. We are ahead of that schedule still

Thats about all I've got, sorry if I missed something!

Thanks,

Jared

Its got CNC ported Wagler heads on it. There are no aftermarket castings done. I wouldn't expect anything from that program until late 2015
Gotcha. Maybe they'll be out by the time I can afford it lol. Hopefully they'll be priced comparably to their dmax heads cause those aren't too horrible. That set of billet ones that came out a while back for 10k a set was just retarded. Keep us updated!
