Purchased RCD SS up-pipes and going to add to the order Monday a set of RCD SS Exhaust Manifolds.

Anybody know the increase in CFM will result with upgrading over stock exhaust manifolds and up-pipes?

Are there any videos around here I can listen to what the truck sounds like?

Lots of thanks to WoodBoy for pointing me to this forum.

Lose the K&N filter. And there is a video of what they sound like. I believe it's in Jared@rivercitydiesel build's thread.

:whs: I am not aware of any CFM #s for them. Not saying they don't exist, I just haven't seen any.

Do they sound different than the stock manifold and pipes? Is there much of a power gain? I've been thinking about adding these to my build as well..

There is a definite tone difference. Not sure about gains. Only one set of manifolds I know have published results about gains.

I talked to RCD this weekend about it and the guy said yes but didn't have the numbers. I'm going to call Monday and find out.

Anything is better than OEM.

josh didnt post flow numbers, but he posted volume numbers, once upon a time.

to my knowledge, those are the only numbers available for these manifolds.

the one tester, who was actually going to do a "verifiable results" test, went a different route.

I hadn't read one of these threads on headers since before I had a 6.4.

So lets throw these in the mix to.

There seems to be about 3-4 styles of 6.0 manifolds/headers that could be run over stockers.

However, nobody has any type of CFM increase or volume of flow numbers that I can find.

The BD ones, for the price, almost look like they could be they way to go if coated.

Pissing match to a minimum just thoughts and experiences from guys that have run any of the above.

Honestly Im happy with what I have. I had a pre production style of the 6.4 style that I didnt torque properly and got hot and ended up warping them. That being said, I couldnt keep mine from leaking bad, but it was due to improper installation on my half.

I just cant get over how the 6.0 style looks, and the sound is unreal. My 59/76 Spools like stock

Up pipes are as follows..

My favorite set up so far, truck spools awesome, drives great on the street, and makes good power. Plus it sounds pretty damn good.

Any problems with warping or cracking? Have you ever ran a before and after comparsion against any other manifolds?

I couldn't get the video to come up even through FB.

No and no, these have been torture tested for over 2 years @ over 2000* hot - cold - hot - cold before being released to the public.

Tadd did some flow testing on the set going on Godzilla for us, but hes been too busy to put the data together for me, and I wont bug that guy with how busy he is.
