Have you checked your filters? Could be the Stock HFCM failing

stock lift pump joey? 80 psi is way to high for the regulator, 65 is plenty.

I got an extra HFcm I'll send you bud if you want to cover shipping. Otherwise an a-1000 for 299 is the way to go

What gauge are you using and where are you reading pressure from? What fuel filters are you using? The new OEM one's or the old one's?

I just noticed something. You just installed a RR, but your sig says you have an "updated fuel pressure spring". That's gone now, right?

Multiple regulators in a system can be a problem. It would help us diagnose your problem if you could give more information about the RR kit. Just saying "RR Kit" isn't enough, I've seen people call things an RR kit that were not even close. If you built your own, maybe some pictures and description. If you purchased a kit, let us know which one.

Also, what fuel pump?

i built the regulated return myself based off a write up on tdg, basically i have lines coming from the back of the heads to an aeromotive regulator and it goes from there to the factory return housing and is tapped in, i dont have pics of mine but here is a similar setup (person i got the writeup from)

he used a .125" thick by .5" o ring on the inside to keep the plunger closed, does that sound right? i havent done that yet but will if i need to

pump is stock hfcm

That popett is fighting the RR to control pressure.

Just a tip, I'd either cap or run a hose from off the top of your motor from the reference port on that regulator. If that diaphragm ever ruptures you're going to have a mess of fuel on top of your motor.

One other thing, is that NAPA or WIX oil filter cap I see? If so I'd ditch that filter and go back to Motocraft filters asap.

Yeah it appears to be a WIX cap, but that's not pics of his setup.
